Stop blinking wifi led indicator

I was recently faced with this strange problem. The wifi led started to blink (blue and orange) even after a wireless connection was made. After searching and finding i got the solution for this.

1. Open a terminal and type the following:

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/wlan.conf

2. Add the following line to the end of the file.

options iwlcore led_mode=1

3. Restart the machine and the led should not be blinking now.
